There is a known issue with go-pear.phar in the 5.2.0 bundle of PHP. You can read the details here:

http://pear.php.net/bugs/bug.php?id=9631



In short: download http://pear.php.net/go-pear.phar and overwrite the one in the 5.2.0 package.

4D WebSTAR V for Mac OS X supports the default CGI compile of PHP.



Note that most compile instructions for PHP on Mac OS X are specific to the Apache server.
